The three first year groups A1E, A1F and G1AT of The College presented a diverse programme based on their experiences with their first year of bilingual secondary education.
Each class had chosen and prepared assignments and presentations they wanted to show their family and friends. For instance presentations based on R&D projects, the Canterbury trip, and different school subjects like music, PE and IBU (poems and limericks). Some groups had prepared a drama presentation for their guests and parents were challenged to take part in a school version of cricket.
Some typically English treats, which had been prepared (or bought) by the students, were enjoyed during the break.
Afterwards many parents said that they had enjoyed the evening and that they were quite impressed by the students’ level of English.
